The Local Organizing Committee for Solvang is presenting their 2nd annual Gala Celebration at the Royal Scandinavian Inn, located at 400 Alisal Road, Solvang, and 1 block from the Time Trial Finish line.

6:00 PM Book signing by Dave Shields, appetizers, and Wine Tasting by Andrew Murray Vineyard, a local winery, recently awarded “2007 Syrah of the Year for under $20” from Wine Magazine. At 7:00 a beautiful dinner will be provided by the award winning chefs from the Meadows Restaurant.

After dinner there will be a short live auction and the winning Raffle ticket will be drawn.

We are proud to have as a guest speaker, Dave Shields, author of TOUR DE LIFE.  This is the amazing story of Saul Raisin’s remarkable comeback to cycling after a crash in 2006 left him in a coma for a week. Dave has also written two great novels about cycling and the Tour de France, THE RACE and THE TOUR. 

We conclude our magical night with Music by Debby White and Pureheart, for your listening and dancing pleasure.

Just announced, BOB ROLL will be joining us after the work is done. Last year Bobke auctioned the shirt off his back, come prepared for a fun filled evening.
